On November 8th, 2019, our lab hosted an open day for the kindergarten students.
Tele-operation on Yumi using inertial motion capture devices and proximity sensing using self-capacitance technology were demonstrated to the students. Students were also allowed to play around with the data gloves to control Yumi's claw, touch the proximity sensor and touch the unplugged Yumi under supervision.
